The Cats
We now have 4 cats in the house, two fully grown cats (Bella and Pepper) and two kittens (Piper and Pebbles).
Why we seem to have gone for cat names that start with 'P' we are not really sure about, but it is better than using Oskar's suggestions of 'TomTom' for both of them.
The old ladies
Bella is as far as we can tell about 14 or 15, she was a rescue cat that Linda found about 11 years ago. She is a tortoise shell cat that spends her time trying to sit on your lap and trying to sleep under the duvet cover. As she is the old lady of the family we do tend to give her more treats than the others, the odd bit of chicken or tuna for example. We also end up having to open windows for her as she is too lazy/bloody minded to actually walk around to the cat flap.
Pepper arrived as a kitten 3 years ago and is a huge black and white cat. She spends her time sleeping and hunting. Unlike Bella she is not really a lap cat and has never really grown up, she is like the little baby of the family as she has a blanket that she will always sleep on and suckle.
The new kittens
Piper (black/white/ginger) and Pebbles (black/white) arrived 4 months ago from a house on the same street. They spend most of their time playing with each other and attacking Bella and Pepper.
They are cute kittens that cat turn up anywhere in the house doing the silliest things. Unlike their elders, they have always lived with babies and so are not so quick to run away when Oskar or Tomas coming running at them.
